07.05.20 - Going to a new mentality

Today is 100% the best workout I've ever had, I put in 100% effort, something that I've always thought I've been doing, but clearly haven't.

The reason I think this is the best workout I've ever done is because not only did it push me into a new mentality, but in one workout I could train every single aspect of fitness: speed, agility, balance, cardio, coordination, strength, muscular endurance & mentality.

  • Cardio & stretching:
  • 30 min walk
  • Back stretches x 10
  • 15 rounds:
  • Back & forward cone runs / shuttle runs / 50 heel flicks / 50 high knees / 50 keepie ups / 12 pull ups / 12 dips / 12 squats / 6 cal bike
  • 5 rounds:
  • 21-15-9
  • Star jumps / pull ups / push ups / squats / dips / cal bike
  • 5 rounds:
  • 100 skipping / 20 squats / 75 skipping / 20 push ups / 50 skipping / 10 pull ups

Coronavirus

Unfortunately I will not be able to train at gyms for the foreseeable, this is due to COVID-19 & the government are closing all gyms in the interest of us all. Social distancing is very important at this moment in time so I will be following these guidelines and training from home.

This does; however, mean that my training will take a knock and the schedule will have to change, but this is where we find out what we're made of and what we can acheive just with pure will power.
