03.07.20 - Day 5 Bodyweight & Cardio challenge

Today is day 5 of my bodyweight & cardio challenge.

  • Cardio challenge
  • 2 mile run
  • 1,000 single-unders
  • 100 calorie bike
  • Bodyweight challenge
  • 100 pull-ups
  • 100 lunges
  • 100 air squats
  • 100 rocking calf raises
  • 150 push-ups
  • Min 100 reps abs (156 today)


How I split the day:

  • 5 rounds: 200 single-unders / 20 pull-ups / 30 push-ups / 20 air squats / 20 lunges / 20 rocking calf raises
  • 2 mile run / 100 calorie bike
  • 3 rounds: 20 crunch / 20 bicycle kicks / 12 knee raise


Updates: I took the approach of day 3, but to a new level; spliting the main workout into 5 rounds with higher reps really did put my body in burn mode. I finished feeling pretty good again and in high spirits for the last 10 days.

Full day of eating

Today I'm off to my girlfried's brothers for his birthday (socially distanced in the garden, of course), so there will be bad food involved, pudding and all sorts. So I will fast for most of the day and only have a small snack before I go in order to keep close to a deficit of some kind. I would imageine I'll end up somewhere near the 3.5k-4k calories.

Coronavirus Update:

As of July 4th things will start returning to normal in the UK; however, gyms will not be reopening & there is no news as to when this will be. So, for now I will continue training in the garden. But things are starting to look up (so long as there isn't a second spike).
