19.05.20 - CrossFit games style

So I have decided to create my own garden competition (for which I am the only competitor), just so that I can keep the momentum going and see what results & scores I can achieve.

My mini games will be 3 days long, here's day 1:

  • Event 1:
  • 50 wall balls / 25 toes to bar / 2 mile run
  • My time: 0:20:21

 

  • Event 2 (Triple DT, 15 rounds):
  • 12 deadlifts / 9 hang cleans / 6 jerks
  • Bar @ 40kg
  • My time: 0:25:18
  • Event 3 (15 rounds):
  • 20 single arm overhead walking lunges @ 5kg / 15 push press @ 30kg / 10 burpees / 5 cal bike
  • My time: 0:36:17

 

  • Event 4 (3 rounds):
  • 40 wall jumps / 20 hang clean & jerks @ 30kg
  • My time: 0:11:35
  • Event 5:
  • 20 rounds: 5 pull ups / 10 push ups / 15 air squats
  • After 10 rounds do 50 cal bike & after 20 rounds do 100 single-unders
  • My time: 0:21:14

 

  • Event 6 (10 rounds):
  • 9 single arm alternating thrusters @ 5kg / 50 single-unders
  • My time: 0:08:53

Total workout time for the day: 2:03:38

Additional exercise for the day: 30min walk

During the garden games

Whilst I'm doing these games I'm basically running on empty all the time unless I'm eating quite often & quite a lot. So I'm not going to track my calories throughout the next 3 days.

Coronavirus

Unfortunately I will not be able to train at gyms for the foreseeable, this is due to COVID-19 & the government are closing all gyms in the interest of us all. Social distancing is very important at this moment in time so I will be following these guidelines and training from home.

This does; however, mean that my training will take a knock and the schedule will have to change, but this is where we find out what we're made of and what we can achieve just with pure will power.
