16.04.20 - Killer day (circuits, Crossfit & arms)

Today I blasted some high intensity arms and ran through some more circuits after too. My aim is to burn over 1,500 active calories per day for the next 5 days (equivalent to a 15 mile run per day).

  • Cardio:
  • 250cal bike
  • 5 x double cone runs
  • HIIT 5 rounds (high knees, burpees, jump squats, mountain climbers, plank, jumping jacks, side plank each side)
  • 30 minute walk
  • Arm day:
  • 4 x Skull crushers
  • 4 x Overhead extend
  • 4 x Plate press
  • 4 x Dips
  • 4 x Barbell curls
  • 4 x Hammer curls
  • 4 x Reverse curls
  • 4 x Preacher & concentration curls superset
  • 3 x Band extend
  • 3 x Reverse extend
  • 3 x Egyptian curl
  • 3 x Reverse cable curl
  • Triple 3:
  • 3 mile bike
  • 300 x 2 skipping (I can't do double unders)
  • 3 mile run
  • Murph:
  • 1 mile run
  • 100 pull ups
  • 200 push ups
  • 300 squats
  • 1 mile run
  • 50 skipping after every 10 pull ups, 20 push ups & 30 squats

Coronavirus

Unfortunately I will not be able to train at gyms for the foreseeable, this is due to COVID-19 & the government are closing all gyms in the interest of us all. Social distancing is very important at this moment in time so I will be following these guidelines and training from home.

This does; however, mean that my training will take a knock and the schedule will have to change, but this is where we find out what we're made of and what we can acheive just with pure will power.
