14.05.20 - Cycling & CrossFit

I'm not 100% sure what I've done to my knee, but it's not great. I don't think it's anything serious, but I will put off running for a few days. Yesterday I still managed to get past my goal of 1.5k active calories, you can see how in yesterday's post.

Today my main goal will be to still keep moving & hit a CrossFit workout of some variety, but to keep my knee feeling fit. I still want to push myself so my goal will be 1k active calories & I'll probably get some decent walks in today as my cardio.

  • Cardio & stretching:
  • 30 min walk
  • 30 min walk
  • 30 min walk
  • 150cal bike
  • 300 skipping
  • 500 keepie ups
  • 5 x knee stretches
  • 7 x back stretches
  • 21-18-15-12-9-6-3 @ 40kg
  • Hang clean / skipping / push press / deadlifts / cal bike
  • 3-6-9-12-15-12-9-6-3 @ 50 kg
  • Bench press / hang cleans / push press / cal bike
  • 10 rounds:
  • 20 plate swings / 20 push press / 20 cal bike
  • PS @ 5kg / PP @ 20kg
  • For time:
  • 50 cal bike / 50 keepie ups / 50 cal bike / 50 pull ups

Coronavirus

Unfortunately I will not be able to train at gyms for the foreseeable, this is due to COVID-19 & the government are closing all gyms in the interest of us all. Social distancing is very important at this moment in time so I will be following these guidelines and training from home.

This does; however, mean that my training will take a knock and the schedule will have to change, but this is where we find out what we're made of and what we can acheive just with pure will power.
