10.06.20 - Indoor fitness & Les Mills

In the past I've often been too quick to write off a rainy day as 'a less intense workout day', but I decided it was time to stop using this excuse & push myself indoors at home just as much as I have been outside or if I were able to train at a gym.

  • Warm up:
  • 3 x 5 chin ups
  • 3 x 10 lunges
  • 3 x 8 push ups
  • 30 min amrap:
  • 30 lunges / 20 push ups / 10 chin ups / 100 single-unders
  • 3 rounds:
  • 15 thrusters / 20 pull ups / 25 sit ups
  • 4 rounds:
  • 12 curls / 12 overhead extends / 20 band curls / 20 band extends
  • 12-10-8-6-4-2:
  • Snatch / push ups / lunges
  • Cardio:
  • Les Mills Grit #19

Unfortunately I will not be able to train at gyms for the foreseeable, this is due to COVID-19 & the government are closing all gyms in the interest of us all. Social distancing is very important at this moment in time so I will be following these guidelines and training from home.

This does; however, mean that my training will take a knock and the schedule will have to change, but this is where we find out what we're made of and what we can achieve just with pure will power.
